Birdsmouth post strap is used to connect horizontal knee rails to vertical birdsmouth posts. Strap wraps around the rail and post to form a strong connection at the intersection. It improves stability and ensures enduring strength in knee rail fencing structures.

Knee rail strap has a V-style strap and comes with pre-drilled holes for convenient fixing over birdsmouth fencing. Galvanised finish makes the strap resistant to corrosion and weather damage. It won’t crack and maintains its appearance and performance for years.

You can use a knee rail fencing bracket in public spaces, estates, pathways, walkways, and outdoor fencing in gardens, parks, and pedestrian areas. Knee rail post strap keeps the timber fence top rails joined to the vertical posts and ensures stability.

Place the post strap at the joint where the horizontal knee rail meets the vertical birdsmouth post. Then secure it using screws through all pre-drilled holes. It fits over the birdsmouth (notched) joint and strengthens the connection.
